Separating Line

Jack is an extremely talented keyboard player and an avid collector of vintage instruments (Moogs, Chamberlin, Oberheims, Hammond A3, and many more.). He first came to the attention of Sprawling Productions when he joined the ill-fated Lower Near The Lake project in the Chicago area in the early ‘80's. This project included Jim Peitcavitch on drums, Paul Kollar on bass, bass pedals & guitars, and Hollis Brown (later of Black Girls & Ozone Quartet) on violin.
After the LNTL project ended Jack went on to perform and record with a wide variety of groups and projects in a variety of genres and was a founding member of the M.E.M.E.(Midwest Electronic Music Ensemble). M.E.M.E. performed and recorded extensively in the Chicago area for many years. In 2000 Jack became a contributor to the St. Elmo's Fire "Artifacts Of Passion" album, playing Chamberlin, Mini Moog & Oberheim OB8 keyboards on several tracks. In 2002 Jack and his family relocated to the Austin Texas area and he is currently a member of the band Sleepwalkers.
