Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Elliott's first instrument was a violin. His early musical influences were the Beatles, Rolling Stones, the Who and Jimi Hendrix (and local bands Glass Harp and Phil Keaggy).

Later on he listened to King Crimson, and Genesis, Focus, Wishbone Ash, Atomic Rooster and Pink Floyd. Elliott met Paul Kollar while they were in high school.

Elliott's current abode is in suburban Cleveland with his wife, Patty.

Les Pal Custom, Early Strat, Jumbo Body 12-string Guild, Fender Stratocaster, Amps, Speakers, Effects pedals, Digital Delay and whatever else I can get my hands on.
